This PowerPoint presentation-based report delivers the results of a telephone survey of 300 respondents from small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs) in Turkey. Lyra conducted the survey in Turkey in 2008 to gain a better understanding of printing behavior among users from SME offices in this region. In this study, Lyra profiles office printer technology and investigates user perception regarding ink jet and laser devices. The survey results reveal the office printing applications that respondents use, supplies usage, channel preferences, future purchase intentions, and how color printing is deployed in the office. In Turkey, 99 percent of business locations have fewer than 20 employees, which means that the majority of the country's businesses are small and micro enterprises. Lyra's survey respondents are representative of businesses in the country overall. This report provides the findings of the survey, including respondents' purchase intentions, technology preferences, A3-printer usage, printer replacement strategy, and the factors that influence purchase decisions, such as price, print quality, supplies cost, ease of use, and color functionality. A section of the report also contains findings about options, accessories, and features that SMEs in Turkey expect new devices to have. The purchase channels that respondents plan to use are also explored. Special Offers for This Report Series This study is one in a series of five reports on the European printing market.
